Take-Home Research Quiz

Find TWO interesting sources in Environmental Ethics (journal articles, manuscripts, chapters of books, entries in respectable encyclopedias of philosophy) that are NOT printed in our text Environmental Ethics . Present a bibliographical entry for each of your sources. Then write a brief summary of each source, or of some section of each source: Explain the problem(s), articulate the argument(s), explain the main claims. Finally, provide some evaluative commentary for each source. The Philosopher's Index is a wonderful resource for philosophical research. With an active NMSU account, you can access the Philosopher's Index from the database selection on the NMSU library website.

This quiz should be SHORT, 2 pages at most--one for each source.

This quiz will be graded for content and style.

No quiz will be accepted after 10:20 am on Thursday, January 31.

Feel free to email drafts of your quiz to me for pre-grading commentary, though it's unlikely that I'll be able to provide comments after Thursday, January 24.
