Welcome to the NMSU
student chapter of the American
Congress on Surveying and Mapping and the New Mexico Professional
Surveyors. We are an organization of students dedicated to promoting
and sustaining the profession of surveying.
Our purpose encompasses
three areas which are:
1. Inform members of the latest developments in the professions
of surveying and mapping
2. Promote the surveying profession and the education of its
members
3. Promote and assist the university community.
Please take a few

questions. We hope that if you take a few minutes we will help to
stimulate your interest in surveying, just as ours has been.
Our membership is open to any NMSU student who is interested in surveying, whether your a surveying engineering major, civil engineer, or just a student with an interest in surveying. If your are interested, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss membership as well as answer any questions that you may have regarding the profession of surveying and the Surveying Engineering department here at NMSU.
