May 31th -- Jun. 1st 2007 Coach and professional player from Switzerland

Dennis Christensen, an assistant coach of the Swiss national team from Danmark, and a professional tournament badminton player Keld, had visited the NMSU Badminton Club as part of their grand tour in the United States. They will visit many badminton clubs throughout the country and exchange training and coaching tips with all badders. Deniss and Keld gave their first training session in the country to our NMSU badminton club.

Two coaching sessions were scheduled at the NMSU campus, on Thursday (May 31st) 7:00-11:00 pm in Rentfrow Gym and Friday (June
1st) 12:00-4:00pm in the Rentfrow Gym. The sessions were opened to the general public, and players of all levels were welcomed. All equipment were provided by the NMSU Badminton Club with generous financial support from ASNMSU and members of the club.

Our members have a great time and a lot of fun with Dennis and Keld. Most of the players improve their playing skills in warm up reparation, grip holding, smashing power, runing steps, positioning in double and single games.

We will post the viedo shot from the two training sessions as soon as it is available. We hope everyone including those who could not make to the session are benifit from this event.
