Membership selection is based upon Character, Practicality, Scholarship, and Sociability. Those invited to join the Chi Epsilon chapter at New Mexico State University have the opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized honor society for civil engineers.
Selection Criteria
Undergraduate Students:
Must be in the upper third of the junior or senior class.
Must have received a passing grade in:
CE 231
CE 233
CE 256
CE 301
Must have passed or be enrolled in:
CE 331
Graduate Students:
Must have completed 1/2 of one academic year in the graduate program at NMSU.
Must be nominated by a member of Chi Epsilon.
Must be endorsed by two (2) Chi Epsilon faculty members.
