Speech Boje gave to LMU at Annual President's Day Homing Lecture Series It is made available on the Net because it gives some history of resident initiative at Nickerson Gardents and how tutoring, dual management and other parter adventures of NGRMC and LMU began -- at least from my view of it. The speech givers were asked to focus on the April, 1992 riot/rebellion/revolution. One point I am making is the diffeence between media and spectacle portrayal of NG and the life of community that did NOT riot and helped keep the peace.
