This trip would not have been the same (or at least not nearly as good) without all of our guides, local experts, and drivers. We especially appreciated our knowledgeable and patient Program Director, Josué Ramírez Martinez. His understanding of both contemporary and historical Mayan culture, as well as the people and places of Central America was wonderful. He took great care of all of us and was always ready to answer our questions. He made the Route of the Maya and this whole travel experience truly unforgettable.
Thanks to all the people along this trip who helped us explore, learn, and see Central America.
