Prebuilt Sheds

Home Design Materials Prebuilt

As stated in the materials page, prebuilt sheds usually come in three types of materials (or a combination) and generally are more expensive. The added expense comes from the assembly of many of the parts, however, sometimes a kit can be purchased saving the cost of assembly (of course you'll have to put it together!).

Metal sheds

This shed from Mueller (who is in El Paso) retails for ~$1400. Although it goes up quickly and looks as good as a shed can get, this is almost twice the cost of building it yourself.
Vinyl sheds

For example, this model from Sams Club (Las Cruces) sells for ~$800 and very minimal construction is needed. Although beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Wood Sheds

Less likely to be from the big box stores, these are usually assembled at a central location and then delivered to your yard. They do require more assembly than their metal and vinvyl counterparts, and are therefore more expensive when bought already built.

This particular model was built by a carpenter for his own house, but sells for ~$3500. This is the extreme in wood shed design, however.
