DICTIONARY




Buccal - Pertaining to, adjacent to, or in the direction of the cheek

Dyspnea - shortness of breath, a subjective difficulty or distress in breathing.

Dystonia - Prolonged muscle contractions that may cause twisting and
                  repetitive movements or abnormal posture.

Intermittent - Marked by intervals of complete quietude between two
                 periods of activity.

Paroxysmal - Relating to or occurring in sharp spasms or convulsions

Prolapse - to sink down

Stridor - A high-pitched, noisy respiration, like the blowing of the wind; a
                 sign of respiratory obstruction, especially in the trachea or larynx.
