CITE/KSGU Collaboration
Established in 2007, Kobe Shukugawa Gakuin University is a private non-sectarian and coeducational university located in Kobe, Japan, that specializes in tourism.
Students from KSGU visit NMSU and the CITE program in order to delve into the English language and gain an understanding of conversational techniques and vocabulary. Students may develop skills for a number of different areas applicable to their education at KSGU and their career endeavors including:
• Culture and History
• Eco-tourism
• Cruise Tourism
• Airline Industry
• Health Tourism
• Tourism for the Elderly and Disabled
• Hotel Management
• Event Coordination
Throughout the semester students will take classes at NMSU, live on campus, interact with the student body as well as take trips in around the city in order to achieve full immersion to increase their knowledge of the English language and understand concepts related to travel, tourism and hospitality.
