So despite all the appearances this site is not actually dead. A couple people have recently come forward and volunteered to provide content, which is mainly what the site is lacking at this point. No html experience required.
We’re also waiting on feedback for things that may be useful for next years season, like online coordinate sheets, previous years slideshows and other media, and automated text messaging so Mr. Hill can send 160 characters or less of useful information.
Also I’m working on a way to make this site more visible on mobile devices, Facebook integration, and some other software goodies. Hopefully there are big things on the horizon…
Dear Pride, since this is the PRIDE’s website I feel like it should be maintained by the pride. There are also more things that need to be done then I could possibly have time for. The good news is you don’t need to know a single thing about html or php to work on this site, we use a program called wordpress that does everything for you. So working on the website (the parts I need help with at least) is not any more technically challenging than writing a paper using microsoft word. If you don’t believe me, just ask Spud, as he was updating the site between every band at TOB. So if you’re interested shoot me an email at email@example.com
Sorry There haven’t been any more recent updates to the pride site guys. I’ve been tracking down the bug behind our lack of slide shows in the posts and I finally found it! So with that being said happy new years and be SAFE!!!
P.S. Somethings still don’t look quite right on the site, that’s because I need to tweak the 3rd party theme’s to fit our needs. There is a lot to kind of look at so if you see something that you feel is just a little off, or could be cleaner, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following subject line: Pride Site
