Time Travels through New Mexico’s Past is an innovative method of museum education. Based on All Time History in Kalmar, Sweden, this method recreates past time periods where all participants role play living in that past. Both the trained interpreters as well as the visiting students are all in character (what’s called first person interpretation) and do not know anything that happened after the time period. Through this experienced history, students learn with all their senses about the past and how people lived in that time period. The following photos are form our time travels over the last three and a half years.
