Introduction

You are a squirrel that lives in Squirreltown.  You and your family, neighbors and friends have noticed that your tree homes are disappearing.  What is happening?

You get together with some of your friends and begin to research why the humans are taking your homes.  You find a lot of information about other natural resources the humans are taking too.

You have already made an appointment to speak with the humans.  During your research you will find information that will help you in your meeting.

You will create a pamphlet to provide the humans with a lot of information on how they can help preserve the environment.

You want to be well prepared with as much information on recycling and natural resources because those humans will be asking you questions!

Step 2:  The Pamphlet

Before you create the pamphlet on the computer, you will need to print the template so that you can have a hard copy to draft your work on.

Make sure that you are working as a team.  Also don’t forget to check the Pamphlet Rubric to make sure that you are meeting all the requirements.

Once you are done with your draft pamphlet, click the template again to create it on the computer.  Print it so that your teacher can make copies for your human classmates and prepare them for the presentation of their lives!

Step 3:  The Presentation

Now you are done!  It is now time to meet with the humans.  As a strong squirrel group, present to your human classmates.  Answer any questions they many have.
