A little about me...

I am an advocate in creating a medium for students with disabilities to nourish their understanding of mathematics. I have been teaching, tutoring, designing and developing innovative means in converting problems of basic algebra through pre-calculus to step-by-step instructions. In the past I have been a tutor for computer and mathematical science classes including students with disabilities. However, my continuing work in human computer interaction puts me in a position where I am constantly interacting with students to teach them the innovations of the work and capture their feedback.

I am a promoter of computer science and engineering. Currently and for the past nine years I have been a sponsor and a mentor of middle and high school students competing at regional, national and international levels of science and engineering competitions. During those times I am required to teach students the scientific method, how to analyze/present mathematical data, and innovations in their field of study.

My undergraduate degree is in computer science with a minor in mathematics. I am currently a graduate student receiving my master degree in computer science with a thesis objective of developing a novel approach for teaching mathematical graphs to the visually handicapped.
