  The exam will be 'closed book'. You are allowed to bring one sheet of A4 paper with formulas or whatever else you feel should help you on the exam.

This is not required. Mathcad is a powerful software package for scientific calculations. We have it installed Mathcad 11 in our computer cluster and you can use it there. Advanced students might find the software-based approach very useful. The linked files are developed by other instructors on different subjects of Physical Chemistry
