Calculating Molar Mass from Chemical Formula
This exercise deals with calculating molar mass (MM) from Chemical Formula. To begin-press "New Compound" and a chemical formula will appear to the right of the table.
Calculate the MM, enter it in the answer cell and press "Check Answer." The results will appear in the second table.
If you get a problem "incorrect", you should redo it and recheck your
answer.
For ease of presentation, all MMs are presented to four significant figures, even though the gram atomic masses (AM) are known to a greater precision. If you miss a problem three times, pressing the "Show Answer" button will show a complete solution.
